Elastalon gaskets are made by molding a layer of isotropically expanded PTFE (ePTFE) over a corrugated metallic core (typically 24 gauge 316Lss).

Corrugated metal substrate with highly compressible ePTFE facing that typically is 1/8″ overall thickness but also available in 1/16″ thickness.
